Lehman Caves

Lehman Caves is located in Great Basin National Park. This limestone cave is noted for its shield formations, and also has stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, flowstone, popcorn, and other formations.

petroglyphParowan Gap Petroglyph Site

Parowan Gap, located a few miles west of Cedar City, Utah is a passage through the Red Cliffs - a long ridgeline. The gap was created by erosion, originally by a stream, then by wind. In the gap,is a pretroglyph site, many of the glyphs linked to solar and lunar events.

natural arch, Cedar Breaks Cedar Breaks National Monument

Cedar Breaks is a stone ampitheatre shaped by millions of years of erosion. You can see stone spires, columns, arches, pinnacles, and intricate canyons in varying shades of red, yellow and purple.

CrowBryce Canyon National Park

Like Cedar Breaks, Bryce is is a stone ampitheatre shaped by millions of years of erosion, though much larger. It largely faces east, whereas Cedar Breaks faces west. I took so many pictures here that there are two galleries: Gallery 1 - Gallery 2
